Kaenyama Sushi and Teppanyaki Bar

I came for the wagu, and unlike my girlfriend, I left satisfied with 6oz of meat.

Love this place! I think it is a great upgrade compared to Kaenyama and a good spot to have a nice dinner in Fremont. It can definitely be pricey but it's worth it sometimes. Tip 1: get the WAGYU FRIED RICE. You won't regret it!They have two options, Japanese BBQ and Japanese sushi. I have to say that their BBQ is excellent, the quality of the meats are great and their stone grill is unique. They have a great selection and I would love to try their wagyu omakase next time. They have sushi also. While I don't think it is the best sushi I have ever had, it is still a nice place to come for sushi with a beautiful sushi boat option. I have also came here for the $35 AYCE option which included a lobster tail, rolls, nigiri, and SASHIMI! I thought it was much better than Kenzo specifically because they have sashimi here. However, there is a lot of rice in the nigiri which is a downside. Anyways- I love to come here because of the atmosphere. It is beautiful inside and service is good!

Enjoy eating at this place, the server Jennessa showed me and friends the best service I have gotten in a while. Ate there again with friends and still one of my favorite sushi places.

We enjoy a grilled stone dinner here. Fun experience with good customer services. Food is O.K.

We met with friends at this spot for dinner. my friend recommended this restaurant. Well, it was very successful. we were warmly welcomed by the crew and we felt fantastic. The food was just great. We enjoyed every moment and we shall definitely come back again. We recommend this place to all.

Good sushi and sashimi, nice decor, good service, high end pricing

The sushi is good, but the service is slow. When we asked our waitress to get us a cup, she forgot it. And we saw a different waiter, we asked him to get us a cup, he said yes, but never came back. I know everybody help their own table, but in the end you work for one restaurant, you should make your customer happy. That's why I gave it 4 stars

I celebrated my birthday yesterday in this fine place. Well we had a fantastic evening and the restaurant was surely the reason for the fruitful evening. The waiters helped in a very nice manner, the food was appetizing and my guests were extremely thrilled. We shall no dout come back again for more celebrations. Thank you very much.

Hard to find good one in Bay Area especially Fremont. This restaurant newly changed owner and revamped the whole image of the restaurant. The quality of the sushi, sashimi, sushi roll are really good. They have the right size of the sushi, sashimi cut is perfect cut. Great environment but serving rather too fast .. not too bad in Fremont standard ..

Really great sushi join in Pacific Commons in Fremont. Didn’t do the all you can eat but the sushi a la cart is very solid. Recommend the tuna Tataki for an appetizer and the hot stone wagyu beef is insanely tender. Great place for a date night or sharing sushi with friends.

I come to this marvelous restaurant every couple of days as I like the special atmosphere that is characterizes this place. The personel is extremely welcoming and experienced. The service is exceptionally fast. Most important, the food they prepare is great. I have been there more than once and I was always happy. The expense is decent. I recommend this place to to all.

First encounter, front staff was friendly. We were offered the menu we wanted and seated where we wanted. We tried the 3 sushi rolls for $15 which was reasonable priced and their meat was very tender. Our server was great, very pleasant and helpful, answered every question we had which was not much and I requested hot water as my drink and the temperature was perfect. I left one star off to give them room to improve which is minimal. Very versatile place to eat with family and friends.

We got the stone grill omakasa set and oh man was it good. My favorite thing to eat was the kalbi because it was so well seasoned! All the meet and see food tasted so fresh. It was a great experience.

Delicious place order a meat set and cook it at the grill by myself. Nothing too special but the quality is pretty good. There would be more variety in larger group.

It's a really nice place. High quality meats and fish. It also reflects in the prices. Come here on a date and they will definitely be impressed. The decor is very loungey or Vegas like. I love it!!

Absolutely love this place. Unfortunately, I don't live nearby. Otherwise, I would be there at least once a week. The menu is unbelievable! The food was over-the-top delicious.

It was great. Friends had the hotpot- which they loved. I have the Filet Mingon with bell peppers and basil. The sauce was outstanding. Would definitely return

Nice and fresh food. I really like the chopstick design from Toro. A good idea for changeable wooden head. It can save from use more wood to make a pair of new chopstick.

All things in here are very good especially A5 Beef and raw oysters and sashimi! But the prices are too pricey! Best sushi I have ever eaten

Friendly staff, nice decor, comfortable seating, great sushi but prices are high. Also the all you can eat option is only for Tuesday and Thursday.

Interesting but fun experience cooking your own food. The design inside is actually really nice. The sushi was good but a bit pricey.

Really liked the place, it's clean, kinda hip with friendly l, helpful staff. Additionally, they have discounts depending on the day and the food is great. Definitely would recommend here for Japanese food

I came here the first time with a small group and got a mixture of appetizers and sushi. I’ve ordered nigiri quite often at multiple restaurants and I’ve never seen it served with so much rice. The rice texture was overpowering the fish. I ended up removing 1/3 of the rice to enjoy the meal. I’d rate Toro four stars if it wasn’t for this issue.The fish quality was decent, but not amazing.I’ve only tried the sushi here. The grill area is a separate side of the restaurant that I cannot rate.

I had a wonderful in this place. We enjoyed the nice vibes and the menu. The waiters were super friendly. I am content we finally managed to visit this restaurant.
